This policy explains how Transfer Bazaar handles information provided through its website and Android application.
Information we collect
Transfer Bazaar may collect account details such as name, phone number, email address and profile photo; listing details and item photos; approximate city; pickup location when a seller chooses to provide it; chats, offers, reports, reviews and transaction-related activity; and technical information needed for security, reliability and fraud prevention.
Location privacy
A seller's precise pickup location is not intended to be public by default. Directions should only be shown when the seller explicitly permits location sharing. Users can deny device location permission and enter a city or area manually.
How information is used
Information is used to provide accounts, publish listings, connect buyers and sellers, offer transport quotes, prevent abuse, investigate reports, operate admin controls, improve the service and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
Transfer Bazaar uses Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase App Check to provide accounts, store marketplace content, deliver notifications and reduce abuse. Firebase Hosting serves the website. Indian PIN-code lookups use the public India Post PIN-code service. Device location is requested through your browser or Android device only when you choose a location feature; directions may open in Google Maps. Transfer Bazaar does not currently process payments, use a payment gateway, or enable Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
Advertising, cookies and consent
Transfer Bazaar does not currently load advertising scripts or use advertising cookies. If advertising is introduced, this policy will identify the advertising provider before activation. Where consent is required, advertising storage and personalised advertising will remain disabled until the visitor makes a choice. Visitors will be able to accept or reject personalised ads and change that choice later. Essential local storage used for login preferences, safety and core app operation is not used to build an advertising profile.
Sharing and safety
Public listing information is visible to marketplace users. Private account details are not sold. Information may be shared with service providers, when a user requests a transaction or transport quote, to enforce safety rules, or when required by law.
Control and deletion
Users can edit their profile, remove listings, block other users and request permanent account deletion. To request deletion, visit Delete your Transfer Bazaar account. We may retain limited records where required for fraud prevention, security or legal compliance and will explain any applicable retention when responding to the request.
Children
Transfer Bazaar is for people aged 18 years or older. People under 18 must not create an account, publish listings, send marketplace messages or enter into transactions through the service.
